New paper published: “Acoustic emission analysis for the detection of appropriate cutting operations in honing processes”

The article studies several acoustic signals obtained in honing operations, with abrasive stones manufactured with different abrasive proportions.

The results have shown that it is possible to predict when a honing process is working correctly, by analysing the Fourier Transform (FFT) signal and Hilbert Huang transform (HHT).
