MICROTECH LAB - Microtechnology for the Industry

The Micro/nanotechnology laboratory is dedicated to the development of “miniaturized and intelligent mechanisms”, from micron scale (MEMS) up to nanometer (NEMS). The possibility of shrinking and constructing mechanisms of dimensions similar to the size of a cell represents a technological revolution in many areas. The previous contributions illustrate our methodology: we consider important to balance our work between basic research, where the search for why dominates, and the development of practical mechanisms.
