3D printing vs COVID19
Mar 27, 2020
A group of EEBE’s teachers and students integrated into the school's FabLab, led by DEM teachers Toni Travieso and Jordi Marquès, have made their 3D printers available for the fight against COVID19.
Responding the call of all institutions, due to the need to manufacture medical equipment, this group has begun printing health visors and a campaign automatic respirator model to address the shortcomings in medical centers for treating respiratory problems of patients infected with the virus.
Once again engineers have been called to provide solutions to vital problems. And this time it's about saving lives!
