Areas

The LEAM is a research group whose mission is research and development in acoustics and vibrations, covering from fundamental research to product development in different areas such as, but not limited to:

  • Vibrational impact of railway infrastructure.
  • Environmental noise management.
  • Vibration energy harvesting.
  • Active noise control.
  • Predictive maintenance based on acoustic emissions and vibrations.
  • Low cost vibroacoustic sensing.

The laboratory has all the computational and experimental tools to respond to the needs of companies or to offer a satisfactory work environment for PhD and master's students.
