1st Day of 3D printing for university students

The Mechanical Engineering department, TECNOFAB research group and the FabLab of the EEBE are organizing the first edition of the 3DDay EEBE on February 28, 2020. This day aims to be a link between the academic and maker aspects of the world of 3D printing. That is why it is born with two parallel facets: the first, which will occupy the morning session, consists of presentations by recent student research in the field of applied additive manufacturing; and the second, in the afternoon, will be the 3D Printing Challenge.

The 3D Printing Challenge is a fast 3D printing competition where college teams have three hours to produce - with their own 3D FFF printer - a geometric jury-provided model. The resulting piece will be evaluated according to its mechanical and aesthetic characteristics.
