Awards obtained at XXIII Congreso Nacional de Ingeniería Mecánica (National Congress of Mechanical Engineering)

Within the scope of the National Congress of Mechanical Engineering, various prizes are awarded. In this XXIII edition, two of the awards have gone to members of DEM.

The model Mechanism “3R” reconfigurable rapid return, by Enrique Zayas, Aitor Garcia, Lluïsa Jordi, José Luis Tejedo and Hernán González, presented at the 1st AEIM-Him3 Contest of Models of Machines and Mechanisms has obtained the first prize for the best model in current machines and mechanisms. The model is a reproduction of the Withworth rapid return mechanism with which three kinematic inversions of the mechanism can be obtained.

The paper Influencia del proceso de bruñido en las propiedades superficiales de piezas planas fabricadas en X40CrMoV5, by Jaume Rue, Eric Velázquez, Jordi-Adalbert Marqués, José Antonio Travieso and Ramón Jerez, has obtained an accessit in the AEIM award for the best communications of the XXIII - CNIM in the field of applied research.
