DEM at the XIX Reunión de Profesores and the V Olimpiada of TMM

On September 25, 26 and 27, the Badajoz Campus of the University of Extremadura held: the XIX Reunión de Profesores de Ingeniería Mecánica y de Vehículos and the V Olimpiada Nacional de Teoría de Máquinas y Mecanismos.

Our colleagues Lluïsa Jordi, Joan Puig and Jordi Romeu attended and participated in all the sessions and visited Siderurgica Balboa in Jerez de los Caballeros.

At the AEIM General Assembly held on September 27, it was agreed that:

• Due to the difficulty of many AEIM members in allocating the expenses of attendance and participation in the Reunión to various projects, from the next edition the name will be changed, but the edition number will be maintained, and it will be called XX Jornadas de Ingeniería Mecánica.

It was also recalled and announced that:

• The next XV CIBIM will be held at Universidad de Concepción, Chile, from October 22 to 24, 2024.
• The next XXV CNIM will be held at the Universidad de Cantabria, from June 10 to 13, 2025.
• The next joint edition of the Jornadas and the OTM2 will be held in 2026 at the UPV/EHU.
