Participation of DEM teachers in the XV Congreso Iberoamericano de Ingeniería Mecánica (XV – CIBIM)

Last November 22, 23 and 24, the XV Ibero-American Congress of Mechanical Engineering was held at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Our colleagues Lluïsa Jordi, Rosa Pàmies and Enrique Zayas attended and presented five presentations related to the fields of biomechanics, machine design and educational innovation. These presentations are the result of work carried out by members and doctoral students of the department, from the same headquarters or not, and with the collaboration of URV researchers and doctors from the Hospital Universitari Sant Joan de Reus.

Biomechanics:

• Diseño, fabricación y control del funcionamiento de un mecanismo de cruz de Malta de cuatro detenciones, by Enrique Ernesto Zayas Figueras, Hernán Alberto González Rojas, Amelia Emelina Nápoles Alberro y Antonio José Sánchez Egea.

• Recursos didácticos de pandèmia: ¿innovación docente o espejismo?, by Lluïsa Jordi Nebot, Joan Puig Ortiz and Rosa Pàmies Vilà.

Machine design:

• Diseño y fabricación de un prototipo de una unidad extrusora assistida por pulsos de corriente para la impressión 3D de tintas cerámicas, by Enrique Ernesto Zayas Figueras and Irene Buj Corral.
