Success of the 5th Edition of the EEBE 3D DAY

On January 31st, the fifth edition of the EEBE 3D DAY was held with record participation, a benchmark event for the promotion of STEAM vocations among secondary education students through 3D printing and the valorization of activities related to digital manufacturing for undergraduate and master's students. Driven by the TECNOFAB core at the EEBE and the school's own management with the support of FECYT, the event brought together more than 130 secondary education students from different IES in Poblenou, La Mina, Sant Adrià de Besòs and Badalona who explained their projects and participated in the proposed printing challenge. In addition, students from Elisava, IQS and different schools of the UPC participated in the university category. The event was closed with two presentations by Ms. Carla Layana, HP production engineer and Mr. David Adrover, general secretary of IAM3DHUB, both alumni of EEBE. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteer staff and the PDI and PTGAS of EEBE for their support in the organization.
