The team "La Petjada" wins the UPCArts audience award of the "Recircula Challenge 2022"

Its mentor has been Prof. Joaquim Minguella Canela of TECNOFAB

On May 5, the final gala of the RecirculaChallenge2022 was held at the Escola d'Enginyeria de Barcelona Est of the UPC.  The teams participating in the 4th edition of the Recircula Challenge had to respond to the challenge of sustainable food.

The students Carlos Saura, Guillem Palmés, Javier Gallardo, Lluís Llull and Maria Bareche, members of the "La Petjada" team, won the audience award (UPCArts) with the project #MyPrint, to turn around the food system model and reduce CO2 emissions associated with consumption.

The mentor of the team, composed of 2 students from ETSEIB UPC, 1 student from CFIS UPC, 1 student from FIB UPC and 1 student from the Faculty of Communication from UPF, was DEM professor Joaquim Minguella Canela, member of the TECNOFAB research group.
